Hi Sue

A bit late but a warm welcome to the forum nonetheless!

I'm Lyn, married to Mike and have four offspring (22,17,17,15) all growing up quickly, as they do! We live in Thornton Cleveleys which is on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire. I have had sero-negative RA for 22 years, run the gamut of medication and several surgical procedures. Currently on Enbrel (well I will be when I restart following surgery!), prednisolone, naproxen and right now any painkillers I can lay my mitts on ... I feel like a right junkie!!!

I too am currently experiencing a flare. Enbrel was stopped for surgery. So four weeks on 3mg Prednisolone and 2 x Naproxen has not been so good! Not a pleasant place to be! Do hope you start to feel better soon.

I'm pleased you have found the forum. As you will have realised there are lots of friendly folk and always someone about to chat with. Do keep posting Sue, I look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Sue,

Sorry for the late welcome. I'm 50, married to "Saint" Chris, have an adult 23 year-old daughter living at home and 2 cats. I'm in the sero-negative RA club too, but not had it for long, nearly two years now. Apart from a cocktail of drugs for pain, inflammatory gastro problems and UTIs, I'm on an Enbrel sabbatical until I'm free from infections, and until my immune system picks up.

look forward to getting to know you,

love,

Barbara

Helloooo Sue *wave*

Welcome to the forum.

I'm Helly, 35yrs old and was born with juvenile idopathic arthritis (diagnosed when 2).... It went into remission when I was 13 and then reared its ugly head again last September. Luckily I got back on DMARDs pretty quick and it looks like its heading back into remission

I love Kent, have fond memories from there as spent my childhood running around bluebells.. Have also done some sailing on the Medway. Beautiful place Wub

Hope your appointment with your consultant went all ok...

Welcome again and look forward to seeing more of your posts
